Our Story
At Miragold 11 Plus Tutors, our programme helps children prepare confidently and effectively for 11 Plus entrance and other school leavers exams. Since 2018, Miragold Tutors has been helping children excel confidently in their entrance examinations — guiding them into top grammar and independent schools across the UK. We believe every child has the potential to excel and thrive, and our mission is to unlock that brilliance through expert teaching, mentorship, and care.
Our full syllabus consists of 36 normal weekly units, the pack of 6 summer lessons and 3 mandatory mock exams for Year 5 during the summer term. The classes focus on:
- English (Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar & Writing)
- Mathematics (Problem-Solving, Arithmetic, and Reasoning)
- Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning
Our classes of small groups (typically 6–8 pupils) combine individual support with collaborative learning. Lesson plans and structure include:
- Review of previous work
- Teaching of new concepts and strategies
- Guided and independent practice
- Regular feedback and assessment
